Sales & marketing is critical in building and maintaining a profitable business. This vacancy offers the opportunity to be involved first hand in the sales aspect of Parcelforce Worldwide, which is the most successful and vibrant arm of the Royal Mail Group. In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for providing excellent levels of service to all of our external customers and you will be the first point of contact for inbound customer queries. When handling these queries you are required to accurately identify any sales opportunities and refer them to our expert sales agents.

Answering all telephone calls in a professional manner, it is vital that you are able to quickly build a relationship with the customers and maintain a high standard of product knowledge at all times. With all sales roles targets are crucial, and this role is no different. The successful candidate will be expected to acknowledge and record all calls to ensure queries can be easily monitored and all targets, both individual and team, are met.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

· Good communication skills - written and verbal

· Excellent telephone, communication and customer service skills

· Organised – be able to plan and priorities workloads

· Work well under pressure and be able to resolve issue’s in a professional manner

· Customer focus, with the ability to identify business opportunities via the telephone

· Good interpersonal skills
