Sainsburys announced that they have created over 15,000 christmas jobs for 2011 which is 1,000 more than last year. Sainsburys is one of the biggest supermarket retail companies in the UK and they have over 800 stores across the UK and 150,000 employees.

Sainsburys have announced a plan about building a Sainsbury’s local in Wolverhamton, just near the bus station. The new prjoect of Sainsburys will create more than 25 job vacancies.

The reatil giant are also applying for planning permission to open a new supermarket on Raglan Street,Wolverhampton. If this plan approved, 190 jobs will be created accrodiong to the company.

Jobs at Sainsburys – Kidderminster Store Enlargement – 100 Job Vacancies

Sainsburys, the retail and supermarket chain, giant, is enlarging its store on Carpet Way, Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The company is expecting to create over 100 job vacancies.

Sainsburys has over 700 stores across the country.

Sainsburys Job Vacancies – Cannock Store Enlargement – 80 Job Vacancies

One of the largest retail and supermarket chain Sainsburys are extending their store Voyager Drive in the Orbital Retail Park, Cannock, Staffordshire. This project wil create more than 80 job vacancies.

The new look store will install a new mezzanine level with a clothing department, deli, and restaurant. The Cannock store already employs 400 people but the extension will create a further 80 job vacancies.

Lidl Jobs - Halton Lea, Runcorn, Cheshire

Lidl are to create 100 job vacancies in Halton Lea, Runcorn, Cheshire. The company is converting an old pub to a modern look supermarket.

With this new project new jobs will be available for jobseekers.

The £8m Lidl supermarket will represent the regional flagship store and will account for most of the 100 job vacancies which are to be created by the project. The Polar Ford Dealership are already operational in the area and will relocate to the Halton Lea site.

Tesco Careers - Glasgow - 350 new Job Vacancies

Tesco, largest retail – supermarket chain in the UK, have taken over former Woolworth store at the forge retail park in Glasgow and this take over will create at least 350 job vacancies.

This will be Tesco’s 20th new store in the UK in 2011.

the company say that there wil be mobile phone shop, optician, photo – print, a cafe, dry cleaners in the store as well as usual Tesco grocery products.
